By being a member, you give the student union legitimacy to get the university and other actors in Örebro to listen to the student voice.

One of our most important areas is to conduct training monitoring to improve the quality of the training so that you get the training you were promised and a degree that leads to employment. Representatives from the student union sit on all the university's decision-making bodies relating to education.

Being a member means the opportunity to get involved in the Örebro student union. At the same time as you gain friends, experiences and contact networks, you are helping to create a better study time for you and your fellow students.

We arrange lots of activities just for our members, for example the introduction, sit-ins and all the fun that the corps sections do. From time to time we are also on campus and offer our members pleasantries, stay tuned!

At the student union, the student- and doctoral student representative works, who keeps track of your rights and supports you if you are mistreated during your education.

Örebro student union cooperates with various actors on campus, a number of organizations and companies as well as with Örebro municipality, which gives union members discounts and benefits. In this way, you as a member get more money left in your wallet at the end of the month.

That the premises where you study are in good condition and that you feel safe in your study environment is important for you as a student to be able to perform at your best. Therefore, the student union works to ensure that your study environment is as good and safe as possible.

Örebro Student Union supports approximately 50 student associations at Örebro University. Through these, we get a more vibrant and varied student life as everything from political debates and sports events to talks and sit-ins are arranged. In other words, something for everyone!

All union sections are part of the Örebro student union. The corps sections arrange activities that suit you and your education. They also carry out the local educational monitoring and introduction at the institutions. By being a member of the student union, you simultaneously join your union section and support their work for a better study time.

Örebro student union works together with other student unions in Sweden to influence politicians nationally so that life as a student improves. Examples of issues that are handled at the national level are student finances, health insurance for students and housing for students.
