Serum is the union section responsible for representing and engaging all students in the departments of Health Sciences and Medical Sciences.

Our programs are mostly held in the Prismah House and the Bilberg House on the Örebro University campus and also in the X House, which is next to the University Hospital in Örebro (USÖ).

Serum is governed by the members, and each year the members elect a board to manage the operational responsibility for the section. The section board currently consists of nine posts with different areas of responsibility. The work is voluntary and is done with only commitment to the best interests of the students as a driving force! Anyone who is a member can (and is warmly welcome to) apply for a position on the board before the annual meeting when the elections take place.

The section is part of the parent organization Örebro Student Union, and just like the other sections at the university, has a representative on the Örebro Student Union board. Therefore, we have great opportunities to influence our study environment both within our programs and at the university as a whole.
